Chimney Cleaning & Sweeping in Dallas–Fort Worth
Thorough cleaning with a clearly explained scope
Wood-burning fireplaces accumulate soot and creosote. ChimneyTrust provides chimney sweeping and fireplace cleaning to remove accessible deposits and document conditions that may need further attention.
When Cleaning May Be Needed
- Visible soot or creosote buildup.
- Debris or flakes falling into the firebox.
- A persistent smoky odor.
- An inspection identifies deposits that need removal.
- The chimney’s cleaning history is unknown.
Smoke entering the room also requires assessment: buildup is only one possible cause.
What to Expect
We assess the system and explain the cleaning scope before starting. We protect the surrounding work area and use brushes and suitable debris-containment equipment.
Cleaning addresses accessible flue walls, the smoke chamber and smoke shelf where reachable, the damper area, and the firebox. The approach depends on the chimney’s construction, access, and deposit condition.
Hardened or glazed creosote may require additional treatment beyond standard sweeping. If that condition is found, we explain the recommended next step rather than promising complete removal in one visit.
You receive photos and a written summary of the work and any observed concerns. Cleaning does not replace repairs or a more extensive inspection when those are needed.
