Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy provides the general rules ChimneyTrust uses when reviewing appointment cancellations, rescheduling requests, deposits, and refund requests.

Project-specific terms

Any project-specific cancellation, deposit, refund, or scheduling terms in an accepted proposal, estimate, invoice, change order, or service agreement control for that project. This website policy provides general rules and does not replace those written terms.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Customers should contact ChimneyTrust as early as possible to cancel or reschedule a visit or project. Early notice may help reduce costs or commitments that otherwise cannot reasonably be avoided.

Refund considerations

Refund eligibility may be affected by factors including work already performed, site visits completed, labor or scheduling commitments, materials ordered or purchased, special-order or non-returnable items, permit or third-party fees, mobilization, and other costs already incurred. Deposits or payments are not automatically refundable simply because a customer decides not to proceed after costs or commitments have been incurred. ChimneyTrust will review cancellation and refund requests individually according to the applicable written agreement and work performed.

Concerns about completed work

Concerns about completed work should be reported promptly so ChimneyTrust has a reasonable opportunity to review the concern and, when appropriate, address it. Contact ChimneyTrust with your name, property address, project information, and a description of the concern. Any review or corrective work will be handled in accordance with the applicable written agreement, including any stated warranty terms.

Non-waivable consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
